- - - - WELDING APPLICATION - - - - TIG Welding Hose - - - - WELDING APPLICATION - - - - S 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8” T -40˚F to 200˚F (-40˚C to 93˚C) A Cable cover in the TIG welding process M Air, cooling water, and inert shielding gasses P 125 A light weight design with maximum flexibility. The outer cover is resistant to abrasion, ozone and mild chemicals. Special market with critical dimensions – copper cable running through the hose. OD critical because it fits in to a TIG gun. Generally sold to OEMs   Construction Tube: Non-Conductive EPDM Cover: Non-Conductive EPDM Reinforcement: Spiral synthetic yarn Packaging: 500’ reel, 3 piece max, 25’ minimum length Hose design ratio (burst pressure) 4:1 Sold in bulk only due to application

Inert Gas Welding Hoses - - - - WELDING APPLICATION - - - - S 1/4” to 2” T -40˚F to 200˚F (-40˚C to 93˚C) A Welding and Industrial applications M Inert gases such as Argon, carbon dioxide, etc. P 200, 250, 300, 400 For use in high-abuse welding and industrial applications. High quality synthetic materials designed to convey inert gases such as Argon, carbon dioxide, etc. Available with a smooth or ribbed cover. Inert Gas hose designs are similar to air & multipurpose but have unique fittings for use in MIG and TIG welding applications. Constructions vary and are similar to Frontier, Variflex, and Ortac. Non-conductive options available The fittings are unique for inert gasses (argon/CO2/helium) used in MIG and TIG welding applications.  The hose assembly would connect to the inert gas bottle or equipment and convey it to the welding tip/nozzle.  The inert gas acts as a protective shield against oxygen and impurities in the air so you get a cleaner, stronger weld.  Sold in coupled assemblies and in bulk Hose design ratio (burst pressure) 4:1

- - - - WELDING APPLICATION - - - - Scarfing Welding Hose - - - - WELDING APPLICATION - - - - S 3/8” and 1/2” T -40˚F to 120˚F (-40˚C to 49˚C)* *per ARPM A Scarfing and severe welding applications M Designed to meet Grade T standards for all fuel gases. P 250   A heavy duty welding hose. The extra thick cover lends protection to the hose in high abuse environments such as steel mills, foundries, and industrial plants where the hose may encounter high temperatures, sharp edges, and abrasive conditions. Construction Tube: Wingprene synthetic rubber Cover: Chemivic synthetic rubber Reinforcement: Spiral synthetic yarn Packaging: 500’ reels, 3 piece max, 25’ minimum length Hose design ratio (burst pressure) 4:1 Sold in bulk only

Welding Hose Did You Know’s: Grades R, RM, and T Welding Hoses have different tube and cover compounds. Single Line Hose available with a smooth or ribbed (corrugated) cover. Ribbed option is purely cosmetic, traditionally preferred for differentiating welding hoses between air and multipurpose hoses. Twinline Hose available with a smooth cover only due to duel head extrusion process. Fittings are unique to welding applications and are manufactured to CGA controlled standards. Welding Hose standards set by ARPM and CGA approves – North America only. Due to the critical nature of the application.   SAFETY

Welding Hose Safety - Background FACT #1: Welding hose not meeting required specifications has been infiltrating the North American market by both imported and domestic hose manufacturers. FACT #2: In all extensive competitive benchmark testing, majority of welding hose is not meeting critical welding hose standards and requirements from ARPM and CGA. FACT #3: Welding hose NOT meeting standards can lead to a CATASTROPHIC failure! SUBSTITUTING LOWER PRICE WELDING HOSE IS NOT WORTH THE RISK.

Welding Hose Safety Benchmark reports have proven that low price welding hose does NOT meet safety standards. Our customers should NOT….. Compromise Safety Risk a Catastrophic Failure Note: Benchmark Test Results Available

Welding Hose Safety Checklist Critical Questions for Welding Hose Safety…. Does the hose meet IP-7-2016 standards? Does the hose have lot traceability? Does the hose have ozone resistance? Does the hose have flame resistance? SAFETY CHECKLIST FLYER AVAILABLE

SAFETY ISSUE IF NOT FOLLOWED Defining SAFETY ARPM IP-7 2016 Standards (22 Page Document) Welding hose requirements for any welding hose sold in North America. The standards, developed by ARPM, are only adhered to North America Other manufacturing countries do not following these guidelines. SAFETY ISSUE IF NOT FOLLOWED

Defining SAFETY ARPM IP-7 2016 Standards Critical Requirements: Lot Traceability Ozone Resistance Flame Resistance Heat Age Testing Burst Ratings Elongation Rubber Hardness

Defining SAFETY ARPM IP-7 2016 Standards LOT TRACEABILITY ALL WELDING HOSE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING: Manufacturer’s Name or Trademark Working Pressures Date of Manufacturer Statement of “Meets ARPM IP-7-2016” or earlier version

Defining SAFETY - Lot Traceability (cont’d) Through testing, low cost welding hose consistently fails at the following: Improper or incomplete lay line branding Packaging labels to not state specific grade (R, RM, or T) No PROP 65 Warnings No pressure ratings branded on the hose. Meets or exceeds ARPM-CGA-OSHA specifications. Example: Low cost welding hose will state it meets CGA standards. Tests shows the hose is Grade R and CGA only recognizes Grade T. Customers receiving inaccurate information and are being misled to believe their welding hose meets welding hose standards.

Defining SAFETY ARPM IP-7 2016 Standards OZONE RESISTANCE Ozone resistance is critical to welding hose safety 100% ozone resistant No cracks in cover CONSISTENTLY FAILING RESULTS

Defining SAFETY ARPM IP-7 2016 Standards FLAME RESISTANCE Grade RM and Grade T welding hose MUST be flame resistant. Hose needs to pass a 12 second flame exposure Hose must also not be consumed by flame. LOW COST WELDING HOSE CONSISTENTLY FAILS FLAME RESISTANT REQUIREMENTS AND IS A SAFETY RISK
