It must be typed and turned in on time. ___25 pts: One paragraph summarizing the book. Focus on the main events. Title and author’s name should be stated in opening sentence.   ___25pts: One paragraph describing two main characters. You must list a personality trait for each, AND show evidence of this personality trait. This must be a direct quote from the book and include the page number. There will be 2 quotes, one for each character. ___25pts: One paragraph identifying the main conflict of the book and explaining how each of the main characters responded to the conflict.   ___25 pts: Must use correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capital letters, indenting paragraphs, proper paper heading, and transitions between sentences. Show pride in your work.

Paragraph 1 In the short story, All Summer in a Day by Ray Bradbury, the students on Venus are waiting to see the sun come out after 7 years of storms. What did you have? Everyone’s can be different, and that is okay! Now, let’s brain storm ideas that are the most important to the story’s plot.

Brainstorm Margot was sad because she missed the sun. The students were jealous because she had experienced the sun before. The students claimed that they did not believe Margot had seen the sun. They students locked Margot in the closet and forgot about her. The students regretted their actions.

On page 71, it describes how Margot hates the rain so much that she doesn’t want to even take a shower. “ And once, a month ago, she refused to shower in the school shower-rooms, had clutched her hands to her ears and over her head, screaming the water mustn’t touch her head.” In contrast, William is an angry bully. He is driven by jealousy of Margot’s life experiences. This drives him to lock Margot in the closet so that she will miss the experience. It is described on page 72. “Hey, everyone, let’s put her in the closet before teacher comes!”
