Animal Facts Description The Komodo Dragon’s color for the babies look sort green , but as the babies get older , their skin changes from green to more of a reddish color they can grow up too 10 feet long! That’s nothing compared to there weight , their minimum weight that’s 150 pounds and the maximum is 300 pounds! But what amazed most people is that the Komodo Dragon has two layers of body the outer layer is scales and the inner layer is skin. The special features of the Komodo Dragon is it’s long and heavy tail , long head , neck and heavy body. Diet The Komodo Dragon is a carnivore and it’s main idea for a meal is deer but it will eat other things including pigs and water buffalo.
