Prior knowledge and beliefs impact learning. Connections are importantboth intellectual and emotional Collaboration usually strengthens learning outcomes.

Feedback is an essential but little-used key motivation. Active engagement is more productive as a learning tool than passive listening. What learners do is more important in health education than what educators do.
