Site 1: Create Your Dreams Function/mission: dedicated to nurturing the talents and dreams of students living in underserved areas of Atlanta Clientele/services: students from third grade up until college, Both boys and girls, minorities, impoverished Office climate/advice to a new employee: Colorful and decorated with pictures, warm/home-like, comfortable, friendly; Gain as much experience as you can and volunteer Professional development opportunities: Volunteer, Possible job, promotions Educational background/training needed: have some experience in education or the educational field

Site 2: The Lanette L. Suttles Child Development Center Function/mission: main goal is to provide appropriate childcare for families Clientele/services: Families, young children, researchers, and other departments Office climate/advice to a new employee: Home- like, welcoming; There are a lot of rules and regulations Professional development opportunities: Developmental hours, online training, teacher planning days Educational background/training needed: degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, CDA, associate’s degree ADD PICTURE

Site 3: Kindercare Lake Harbin Function/mission: assist families with the progress in the development of their child; improve the cognitive and developmental potential in children between the ages of birth to 5 years no matter the child’s needs Clientele/services: Infants to PreK, families with foster kids, children with IEP and developmental delays Office climate/advice to a new employee: Friendly, passionate, caring; have the patience and the passion for this type of job Professional development opportunities: Twice a year they hold the country’s largest childcare program Educational background/training needed: Degree and experience

Suttles Child Development Center I believe that the site can increase their interdisciplinary approach by learning not only how to involve multiple disciplines within the classroom but also by learning how to integrate multiple disciplines into the curriculum and activities.
