Exit Reform Impact Assessment Ofgem published its initial impact assessment on Offtake Arrangements on 21 July 2008 The IA covers all seven UNC modification proposals Ofgem held a workshop to discuss the impact assessment on 22 July Responses to the IA document are due by 29 August 2008 Ofgem are seeking an Authority decision on implementation by 30 November 2008 Implementation to be effective from April 2009 IA document and presentation available on Ofgem’s website www.ofgem.gov.uk/Networks/Trans/GasTransPolicy/offrev/Pages/offrev.aspx

Transmission Planning Code update

Transmission Planning Code Framework document relating to the planning and development of the NTS Contains methodology to determine the physical capability of the NTS Detailed supply/demand assumptions National Grid must comply with and maintain the code We must review and undertake consultation process at least every 2 years Modifications must be approved by the Authority
