“Falling for Foreshortening” Foreshortening is when something looks like it is coming toward you because of a change in size. What parts of the body seem larger than usual in this picture? What parts of the body are close to us, and which parts are far away? How can you tell?

“Falling for Foreshortening” Trace your shoes near the bottom of the paper. Leave space in the middle. Trace your hands near the top of the paper. Leave space in the middle. Draw your arms and legs coming from the hands and feet. Connect the arms and legs with a body. Add a head. Add details to the bottom of your shoes.
