Animal Facts Diet Description Movement Peacocks are blue, green, gold, brown, and red, to attract mates, peahen on the other hand are plain and boring. They are brown, gray, and white, peacocks and/or peafowl weigh 8-13 pounds. Their length 8-9.1 feet, they have feathers. A peacocks tail makes up 60% of it’s body. Diet Peacocks are omnivores they eat insects, plants, fruits, seeds, ants, flies, snakes, and amphibians. Movement Peacocks prefer staying on the ground but if they need to they will fly. Habitat Peacocks and/or peafowl live in Asia specifically India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Pakistan, peacocks live in forests and grasslands. They have spurs on the back of their legs. Animal Interactions Peacocks have spurs on the back of legs, spurs are sharp so if a predator attacks from behind they can get injured.
