Get Tested Early and Get Cured Early! Rayvonia Elliott, Yasin Williamson, Amez Green, and Christopher Jordan Status: Needs Funding Collected: $0 Budget: $253,000

Slogan Explanation The earlier you get tested and diagnosed with Leukemia, you should go ahead and get cured early. Early treatment can help you and your family worry less about your life.

Purpose The purpose of this campaign is to inform families that Leukemia is not a joke and it is a very important thing if diagnosed with it.

Target Audience We want to target families with loved ones that have this type of Cancer. Leukemia can run genetically through children at a young age.

Goals! Goal 1: Our first goal is to spread the word to the families that we are doing a campaign that goes out to their loved ones with this type cancer. Goal 2: Our second goal is to fundraise money for the families who have loved ones with this type of cancer. Goal 3: We are tending to get the word farther out our local area into larger areas that have major numbers of this type of cancer.

What We Are Expecting We are expecting to give people knowledge on what Leukemia is and help their families fight this disease. Also get them to contribute to other families or patients with Leukemia.

Description Of Leukemia Leukemia is cancer that starts in the tissue that forms blood. The types of leukemia can be grouped based on how quickly the disease develops and gets worse. Leukemia is either chronic (which usually gets worse slowly) or acute (which usually gets worse quickly). Chronic leukemia: Early in the disease, the leukemia cells can still do some of the work of normal white blood cells. People may not have any symptoms at first. Acute leukemia: The leukemia cells can't do any of the work of normal white blood cells. The number of leukemia cells increases rapidly. In our campaign, we are trying to help make funds for these cancer patients and show the kindness of our heart. We are planning special events such as: mile runs, walks, fairs, and etc.

Campaign Method We intend on spreading our campaign through social networks and media such as: Facebook, Instagram, Blogs, Twitter, News, Public Service Announcements, and etc. We are intending to having our own personal billboards so that the whole entire state can see how we care for their loved ones and also about leukemia period. We are expecting for this campaign to last for at least 20 years or more. We are also expecting more contributors and families to join our campaign.

Budgeting Project Leader: $75x24=$1800 Financial Manager: $55x24=$1320 Artist are the ones who make the flyers end etc. (6 Months): $600 Workers who is handing out the advertisements and promoting it. (6 Months): $750 Advertising (Flyers, Social Media, etc.): $800 Materials: $925 Renting: $200,543 The other $46,ooo will go to the Leukemia Patients (Hospitals)

Reflection 1. What lessons did you learn from the project? We learned that no matter the condition of a loved one or friend, help change their frowns upside down. Take your time and learn to realize what you have and what you are capable of doing for one another. 2. What was the most difficult part of the project? The most difficult part of the project was trying not to go over our budget and trying to plan the whole thing. 3. How did you resolve any issues or conflicts? We really did not go into any conflicts or issues while doing this project. Everyone did their part in this project. We had no troubles with connections also. So the whole thing went very well as planned.
