Island Space Requirements: ISLAND BOOTHS: Height: Island booths (20x20 or larger) have no height restrictions other than the limitations of the facility. Solid Walls: Solid walls along and near the perimeter of island booths must be finished in company branding or graphics, or signage to aid navigation on the exhibit floor. Graphics must cover a minimum of 50% of the wall on each side of the booth. Special Approvals: NACDS approval is required in the following circumstances: Two story/double-decker islands – island booths occupying more than one level. Overhead hanging signs or anything else hung from a booth or the exhibit hall ceiling. Covered areas under 300 square feet require a smoke detector and a 2A10BC fire extinguisher. This includes detached canopies. Double-deckers and covered areas over 300 square feet require a sprinkler system in addition to the smoke detector and fire extinguisher.
