Look at these sentences about me. Are they true or false? I am a teacher. I teach at UAEU. I have two children. I come from New Zealand. I drive to work every day. I read the newspaper every morning.

What is true for you? I come from __________________. I speak ______________________. I live in ______________________. I study at ____________________. I get up at ____________________. I go to bed at _________________.

We use the present simple to talk about something that is always true or true for a long time. I live in a nice house. past future now

We also use the present simple to talk about habits – things we often do. I eat lunch in the cafeteria. I visit my friends at the weekend. I play tennis with my best friend on Saturday. I buy food from Carrefour. I drink coffee in the morning. I drinking coffee in the morning.
