13th AAATE Conference Budapest, Hungary 10 – 13 September 2015 Dear Chairman, ladies and gentlemen. It is a great pleasure for me to introduce the next conference venue for you: Budapest. I am SLC I am from the University of Pannonia, Hungary Budapest, Hungary 10 – 13 September 2015

Budapest, a metropolis in the heart of Europe Conditions available for organisation of a world congress (hotel, room capacity) Schengen, easy entry Easy access by plane - Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport flights from 64 destinations, Sólyom Hungarian Airways by train from >30 cities of Europe (EuroCity, EuroNight) Why Budapest? Because Budapest is a metropolis in the heart of Europe. The conditions are available for the organisation of a world congress. It is easy to come to Budapest from all over Europe or the world.

Why in 10-13 September? AAATE conference usually organised early autumn The weather in Hungary in September is usually sunny and warm. Temperatures are usually in the range between 20 and 25 °C during the day AAATE 2015 Why from 10- to 13 September? Becauase AAATE conferences are usually organised early autumn and the weather this time is usually very convinient.

Great Elders from the Information Technology to Special Education in Hungary We have great forefathers in Information Technology and Special Education in Hungary. For example John von Neumann, without him modern IT would not exist. We had and have great doctors, therapist and special teachers for handicapped people.

Slogen of the conference: Attracting new areas and building bridges Engineers, researchers and users with disabilities Attracting new areas of this discipline experts working on the field of special teaching and therapy training Attracting new generations: doctoral Consortium, young researchers, a section for BSc – BA and MSc – MA students Attract participants from the surrounding countries, from the East side of the former iron curtain Working together and developing a shared and not divided world, a more user friendly, usable IT world The slogen of the conferenc is „Attracting new areas and building bridges”. We would like to invite not ony engineers, researchers, users with disabilities but We would like to invite experts working on the field of special teacher and therapist training. We would like to invite the new generations: doctoral Consortium, young researchers, And university students too. On the other hand, the location of the conference is in the Middle of Europe, we invite participants from the surrounding countries, from the east side of the former iron curtain too. Working together and developing a shared and not divided world, a more user friendly, usable IT world.

Organizers The organisation of the AAATE 2015 is planned to be done by the members of three Institutes: University of Pannonia John von Neumann Computer Society, Supporting Organiser: BLISS Foundation The organisers are the University of Pannonia and John von Neumann Computer Society.

University of Pannonia The University of Pannonia is the major focal point of research and education in Pannonia, the western part of Hungary. The Faculty of Information Technology is one of the five faculties of the University. The Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems is one of the four Departments of the Faculty. The Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems is one of the four Departments of the Faculty. We are working for the Virtual Environment and Imaging Technologies Research Laboratory.

Virtual Environment and Imaging Technologies Research Laboratory Colorymetry and lighting technologies Multimedia and virtual reality applications for the education of children with special education needs and for rehabilitation of adult persons The Laboratory has more than 15 years’ experience in teaching „User intarface design” Since 2005 UP is the Hungarian National Contact Centre for EDeAN, in 2009 secretairat manager of EDeAN 5 conferences organised in the last 12 years The Laboratory has a vide spectrum of research topics from colorymetry and lighting technologies until multimedia and virtual reality. The Laboratory has more than 15 years’ experience in teaching „User intarface design” and developing rehabilitation softwares. The Laboratory was the secretairat manager of EDeAN in 2009. We organised 5 conferences in the last 12 years.

Congress Dinner Evening excursion to the Puszta Hungarian folklore performance and horse show in authentic surrounding Dinner will be served at an original Csárda “Puszta Ötös” coach and five, obstacle driving of coach and four, several field events of horse-herds: laying, seating of horses, cracking a whip, competition of horse-herds etc. After the show a typical Hungarian dinner will be served. The conference dinner will be in the Puszta (Hungarian Great Plane) Over there will be a Hungarian folklore performance and horse show in authentic surroundings The Dinner will be served at an original Csárda (tipical Hungarian restaurant) The “Puszta Ötös” coach gives you a performance (hors show). After the show a typical Hungarian dinner will be served.
