About us Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services (SMATSA), LLC is the provider of air navigation services in the airspace of the Republic of Serbia, State of Montenegro, 55% of the upper airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a part of the Adriatic Sea. About us SMATSA Aviation Academy (SAA) is located in Vršac, Serbia – 80km northeast of Belgrade and it specializes in training professional and private pilots SAA has over 40 employees, composed of experienced lecturers and flight instructors, maintenance mechanics, management and administrative staff.

All staff is subjected to induction training, regular checks and retraining, where necessary
