WP1 - Project management and coordination Objective To assure an efficient and effective Project Coordination including contractual issues, technical, financial, quality assurance, risk management and development of interrelations of the WPs within the project and external relations between the Project Coordinator and the EC Tasks Project Management and Coordination (Task leader: CERTH) Project Supervision (Task leader: CERTH) Quality Control (Task leader: AMEUP)

WP2 - EURAXESS Career Development Centres (CDC’s) Objective To support the EURAXESS network in building up EURAXESS Career Development services in line with the EURAXESS career development service model recommended by the TOP III project. WP3 - Social Integration Initiatives Objective To further improve the existing EURAXESS services taking into account new initiatives. It will build on the existing knowledge of the Euraxess Service Centers, on the results of former Euraxess projects and on studies/evaluations of how to support the international researchers and their families better. WP4 - Engagement with industry Objective To build upon the lessons learned on previous EURAXESS projects and to support the EURAXESS community to have the necessary know how and tools to develop new services oriented to a better connection between academia and industry. Tasks Industry- academy mentoring pilot and exploitation of results (Task leader: Spain) Including scientific entrepreneurship advice into the EURAXESS services portfolio (Task leader: Italy) EURAXESS as a key stakeholder in researcher intersectoral mobility (Task leader: Israel)

WP5 - Capacity Building of the EURAXESS Network Objective To further intensify the services provided by the EURAXESS network and to expand the recently developed new services. Tasks Training Needs Analysis and national training plans (Task leader: Portugal) Preparation of pilot programs and courses for the capacity building activities (Task leader: Serbia) Network-wide training of ESCs and ECPs for capacity building (Task leader: Bulgaria) National and regional training for network members (Task leader: Bulgaria) Study Visits programs and increasing of national networks capacity (Task leader: Slovakia)

WP6 - Network support and a comprehensive communication and cooperation strategy for EURAXESS Objective To launch, execute and evaluate the Network Call; to design, create support for and implement a comprehensive communication and cooperation strategy; to enhance the attractiveness of the EURAXESS network and embed EURAXESS stronger in the European Research Area and beyond. Tasks Design, implementation and evaluation of the Network Call (Task leader: Hungary) To set up a coherent communication strategy for EURAXESS (Task leader: Netherlands) Outreach through promotion of EURAXESS (Task leader: Spain) Outreach to stakeholders through strategic networking (Task leader: Moldova)

WP7 - EURAXESS Open to the World Objective To strengthen the internal collaboration of the network and on improving the communication between mobility centres, BHOs and EURAXESS Worldwide. Tasks Database of centres of excellence, relevant initiatives and infrastructures in the ERA (Task leader: Czech Republic) Mentoring Programme to promote a better integration of third country researchers (Task Leader: Bulgaria) Improving the communication between the EURAXESS network and EURAXESS Worldwide (Task Leader: Portugal) Improving the collaboration with Scientific Diasporas (Task Leader: Israel)

WP8 - Open EURAXESS portals Objective To strengthen engagement and collaboration in the network for better and more diverse online information and services, in the domains of researchers’ mobility, career development and industry collaboration. To provide a technical platform for integrating EURAXESS portal with existing useful and relevant data and tools from three domains above. The aim is to reduce the actual workload of the service centers, by enabling easier access to actual information and common user experience across national portals. WP9 - Future of the EURAXESS Network – New services Objective The main goal of this WP is to facilitate the further evolution of the EURAXESS as a network proactively dealing with challenges arising from the current and future development in ERA and responding to the needs of researchers (regardless of their background, career stage or sector they work for), research institutions and other stakeholders. Tasks Prioritizing, development and implementation of advanced services in the era of Open Science and Innovation. (Task leader: Norway) Towards a common EURAXESS service identity by enhanced institutional cooperation, networking and mentoring (Potential task leader: Slovakia) Development of an online and offline tool for quality assessment (Potential task leader: Estonia) Promotion and implementation of the Charter and Code in light of the new HRS4R procedure (Task leader: Croatia) EURAXESS after 2020 (Task leader: Hungary)

Gender in TOP IV Managing Diversity (focus on gender & multicultural issues), (Task leader: ETH Zurich) The aims to successfully integrate diversity management in the EURAXESS network and thus in its services. Therefore, existing studies and papers will be analyzed initially. In a first meeting, experts in the field of diversity management will meet to deduce recommendations to the EURAXESS network. In order to grasp a holistic picture, two focus groups will be conducted with stakeholders from universities and industry facing the challenges of diversity. Associated with document Ref. Ares(2018)1706786 - 28/03/2018. Concrete recommendations and a training (WP5) will assist the EURAXESS network to include diversity in their services.
