Project Management is accomplished through the use of the processes such as: Executing Process Group: Integrates people and other resources to carry out the project management plan for the project or phase. Monitoring & Controlling Process Group: progress is regularly measured and monitored to identify variances from the project management plan, so that corrective action can be taken: (Monitoring the work being done and Tracking COST, EFFORTS & SCHEDULE)

Visibility: The product has no shape or size that can be measured. Monitoring: Traditional measurement of performance cannot be applied to software.
