The Baltic is much less salty than other seas. Because of the sweet waters of many rivers. The wind blowing over the Baltic Sea causes its waters to continually rip.

The longest river Wisła - the longest river of Poland, 1047 km long. It is also the longest river going to the Baltic Sea. The river is located in southern Poland on the western slope of the Baranie Góra in the Beskid Śląski. The main course of the Wisła is the meridian.

Average depth of 6,5 meters The largest lake Śniardwy is the largest lake in Poland with an area of ​​114 km².
