Key aspects Functioning partnership between National Park, NGO and County Inspectorate representatives Focus on specific characteristics of communities in Carpathians mountains

Teacher training design Objectives: Elements of protected areas management used in order to design learning activities focused on ESD Developement of teachersskills and abilities to design, apply and evaluate learning activities by means of project method in order to integrate ESD Development the skills of teachers in communication and active methods design in order to integrate ESD in different curriculum subjects Practice of these skills in the national park environment

Teacher training design Topic of training activities One day and a half in National Park S1 – How does it work a protected area/national park? Biodiversity in protected area; Management of protected areas/national parks in the context of Carpathian Convention S2 – Professional developement of teachers – the project method as learning opportunity (NGOs point of view) S3 – Team work and team learning strategies, developement of critical thinking and complexity approach in the context of ESD S4 – How to use reusable materials in learning activities in order to produce different devices, realize didactic games etcreusable materials different devicesdidactic games S5 – In field practice S6 – Prezentations of in field activity. Bus tour – as follow up of training activities Organize the training activity, teachers gets instruments, materials, know how, organize their community event, realize portfolios (trail map, projects, flyers etc) and bus came in each community (6 – 10 communities, except CJ+BH) In the National Park will be one single event where all schools, local communities representatives attend and the bus come.
