Directions for 261-267 Before reading: What is the purpose of using masks for theater/drama when many characters need to show emotions? Fill out the during reading chart while you read. Make sure that on the “what...says” boxes that you use quotes from the text. While you read answer the 10 key ideas and details questions in the margins. Answer the after reading questions in complete sentences. Make sure that you write at least a 5 sentence response to the check for understanding prompt.
