Revocation means that your driving privileges have been taken away indefinitely. To regain your license, you may be eligible to reapply for your license after a minimum of one year
Revocation Reckless homicide (resulting in the death of another person) DUI A Felony Offense (vehicle used while you committed a serious crime) Leaving the scene (left the scene of a crash that kill or injured someone) Perjury (false information to the Secretary of State) Reckless Driving (3 in one year) Drag Racing Reckless Conduct (involving a vehicle resulted in injury or danger to another person) Auto Theft Aggravated Fleeing the Police
Suspension means that you temporarily lost your driving privileges, you may regain your driving privileges after a specific length of time

SUSPENSION 21 years old or older: three moving violations within 12 months your license will be suspended Under 21 years old: 2 moving violations within any 24 month period, your license will be suspended, if you are under 18 years old – you will be required to take a remedial education course to get your driving privileges back. (Length of suspension will vary according to the seriousness of the traffic offenses)
