Implied Consent Law Any person suspected of Driving Under The Influence must submit to a Breath Test REFUSAL to take the test is equivalent to driving with a B.A.C. of.10% Suspension 7 months to 1 year $300 to $500 fine Up to 30 days in jail You may still be found to be guilty of driving under the influence Sentences may run concurrently of consecutively based upon the judge’s order

New Jersey does not grant driving privileges for HARDSHIPS, if your license is suspended you may not drive for any reason.

Reduction- If you drive violation free for one year the state will subtract 3 pts from your total. Attending driving school will also get you a reduction Insurance surcharges - you will have to pay extra on your Insurance premium for points on your record All fines an points are doubled for violations in a safe corridor or construction zone.
