The spinneret is located near the mouth and is used to make silk. True Legs The first three legs of a caterpillar that will become the butterfly’s legs. Prolegs Act as suction cups when walking on a smooth surface. Claspers Hooks that attach to silk pad when a chrysalis is formed.
