Presentation transcript:

Food is hard to eat if it is not seasoned properly! Job asked, “Can flavorless food be eaten without salt?” (Job 6:6)

Words are hard to accept when they are not spoken “with grace.” “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” (Colossians 4:6)

The Words We speak should Bless and Build Up others! “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” (Ephesians 4:29)

Unsalted, harmful words should never spout out of our mouths! “Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so…no spring yields both salt water and fresh.” (James 3:10-12).

May our words and our thoughts be pleasing to God and helpful to man. “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.” (Psalms 19:14)
