Plot Structure Introduction -Occurs at the beginning of the story -Introduces character, setting, time period, etc. Introduction:

Plot Structure Rising Action: -Several events that lead up to the Climax. -Helps build suspense Rising Action:

Plot Structure Conflict: -Occurs in both the introduction and the rising action

Plot Structure 5 Types of Conflict: a. Character Vs Character b. Character Vs. Nature c. Character Vs. Self d. Character Vs. Society e. Character Vs. Supernatural

Plot Structure Climax: The highest point of action Usually the most exciting part! Can be a turning point in the story Climax

Plot Structure Falling Action: After the climax Leads to the resolution The conflict begins to be resolved Falling Action:

Plot Structure Resolution/Conclusion: -The conflict is resolved -Loose ends are tied up! Resolution/ Conclusion
