To be able to create my first advert, I needed an image to go along of the bottom of my advert. I decided to use an image that match the colours on my logo I designed. This is because I felt it fitted well for school purposes. To be able to use this image I needed to remove the background. To do this I started to use the ‘quick selection tool’ and selecting the background I didn’t want, followed by delete.

I then needed to add my logo to do this I had to select the part of my logo I wanted and do ‘layer via cut’ with my logo. I dragged down the tab that I wanted to copy over and this made the layers merge into one.

Once I had added my logo in I needed to fill the background space, once again I thought I would use a picture to show of the school. To add this picture in I had to select the part of the picture I wanted and do ‘layer via cut’ with the picture. I dragged down the tab that I wanted to copy over and this made the layers merge into one.

Once I had added in the picture I then needed to add my text, to do this I clicked on the ‘T’ button on the side this will bring a text box up, I then inserted the information needed into the box. I first positioned in the bottom left hand corner but I found it was hard to read even in different colour texts. Therefore I decided to add the text to the middle to make it more clear and readable.
