Learning Commons Map Nonfiction shelved by Dewey Decimal number Picture Mags Multiples Graphic Novels Readers Fiction Reference Discuss each section of library in turn starting at the left with NonFiction. Click the mouse for each section and an Hibou will fly in to highlight where in the library the section is located. Learning Commons Passes Each class has 4 Learning Commons Passes Allows you to come to the LC to exchange books Sign out Pass from your teacher Learning Commons open for book exchanges Monday – Thursday 8:45 – 10:45 11:00-12:15 1:00 - 1:30 For book exchange, not reading

CHECKING OUT BOOKS Up to 5 books at a time How? Can sign out at Self-Checkout or Circ Desk Can sign out in Blue Book if necessary Get Browser card Select books Use browser card to mark book’s place on shelf Return browser card Check out books Demonstrate selecting a book from the shelf using a browser card.
