Welcome Back Grizzlies!

Objective- BTEOTLIWBAT: Clearly Identify the Expectations of Mrs. Teresi’s Government class. Bring back my class contract signed by myself and my parent/guardian by the 19th Directions On a piece of lined paper write your name, block number and the date in the upper right hand corner Starting on the first line write out today’s objective. You will repeat this process at the beginning of class each day.

You will be graded on Quality and Content of assignments, not just completion Grading Policy

Bathroom Passes 4x per semester Extra credit for non use Still have to take the school pass. Cannot go the first 15 or last 15 minutes of class. Don’t Ask! Bathroom Passes

Goal Setting Thought Bubble Directions: Individually reflect on what you want this year to look like. What are the goals you want to achieve this year? Setting real tangible goals for yourself is an important step toward a path of self-motivation. On the thought bubble provided write down one goal you want to achieve by the end of this year. You can write full, complete sentences, a phrase, bullet points, one word or draw a picture. Be colorful, creative and hopeful. This will be left with me and I will post them in our classroom so that we can be reminded. You will take your thought bubble down in June to reflect on what you accomplished.

A Little about Mrs. Teresi Married almost 14 years 2 kids (Dominic, 17 and Rya, 8) 2 doggies (Teddy and Koda) 2 kitties (Puck and Sirius) 6th year teaching at Central High Assistant coach for Mock Trial Masters degree in Education Love to swim, hike, read, and travel.

Introductory Letter: This year we will be working together to achieve a higher level of learning. The better I know and understand you and what you are all about, the better I will be able to teach you and help you reach your goals this year. Thus, please take this assignment seriously and do a thorough job! You are welcome to tell me anything about yourself that you think is interesting or important. For those of you who would like some more specific ideas, here are some topics you might wish to discuss in your letter; Brief biography Goals for this year, after school? Role models/people you look up to or admire and why Hobbies/interests/how you spend your spare time Community or church involvement/extra-curricular activities Favorite things: music, movies, sports, teams, TV shows, restaurants, books, etc Pet peeves/things you dislike Interesting or unique personality traits Interest in this class subject Anything else I should know about you… Due by Wednesday 8/17.
