Getting Ready for the Big Game Time Management Game Room Module 2

It’s Time To Learn About Time!

Everything we do takes time, but how long do things actually last?

No matter what the clock looks like, time remains the same!

TIME TO EXERCISE OUR BRAINS With a little warm-up activity

TIME AWARENESS EXERCISE

TIME AWARENESS EXERCISE One More TIME AWARENESS EXERCISE Go for the Goal! The Guessing Game for Reaching Goals in the Classroom

Now that we know something more about time, we are going to have a 10-minute activity for you and a partner.

Do NOT cross out bubbles!!! Please remember the following things about tests and bubble sheets. B C D 1 – Fill in bubbles all the way – remember… only one! B C D 2 – Do not cross out, or X bubbles that are not good choices. Do NOT cross out bubbles!!! 3 – If you cross out answers that are not good choices, stay away from the bubbles! Crossing out is OK if you stay away from the bubbles. Crossing out is never OK no matter what you do. Crossing out is just a waste of a good pencil. OOPS! 4 – If you choose to change your answer, erase completely any other bubble marks.

You will be given ten (10) minutes to complete this exercise. You can use the blank spaces for your work area. 10:42 Make sure to fill in the answer bubbles correctly. Work Area!!! After you answer the question, write down the time you see on the screen when you finish with the question. Remember read and follow all directions. Good luck and have fun. If you don’t have any more questions, let’s get ready to begin. You will start this exercise when we say “GO”.

GO! READY!!! 3 2 1

STOP! 2 1

Now how do you feel about tests? How did you feel? Did you sit like you were ready to take a test? Testing posture means you are sitting straight and looking at the teacher. This helps you breathe, get air to your brain and think better!! Did the clock make you nervous? Your teacher will tell you if the test was UNTIMED. That means you have all day to take the test.

You can take all day… …if you use your time wisely! Use your time to work hard Use your time to work smart!

  ? Use your head to beat the test! Start with what you know. Learn to use time wisely – so you don’t get tired! Start with what you know.  Mark all the questions you KNOW  Mark all the questions you DON’T KNOW ? Mark the questions you can FIGURE OUT

  ? I don’t understand the directions. ?   ? I don’t understand the directions. ? I tried reading this one and I know all the words.  I can do this one now! 

I read the directions and I don’t have to do any math!  I can do this one.  I’m not good at times. 

ERASE YOUR MARKS WHEN YOU ARE DONE WITH THE TEST!!
