2 Steps to Answering Multiple Choice Questions
What is a multiple choice question? It is a question that lists possible answers and asks you to make a choice and select the correct one. You may be surprised to find out just how hard multiple choice questions can really be.

9 STEP #1 Read the question carefully!
Even though this is a timed test- you will waste more time by not reading the question carefully. This is very important! Make sure that you understand the question!

10 STEP # 2 Now that we understand what the question is asking us, take a moment to think of the answer before you read the choices.

11 STEP # 3 Read all of the choices.
Compare the answers to the one already in your mind, and consider the following: Do you see any answers that you know are wrong? If so, cross them out.

12 STEP # 4 Now look at your remaining answers and think carefully before answering. Choose the best answer.

13 STEP #5 Be sure to answer all MC question by filling in the circles on the Student Answer Sheet

14 Let’s Practice Take 15 minutes to read the selection you have been given and answer the 5 Multiple Choice Questions on the back. I will be coming around to answer any questions you may have. We will compare answers when everyone is finished! Good Luck!
