The Urban Governance Campaign Initiated in 1999 along with the Secure Tenure Campaign Burkina Faso, Kenya, Madagascar, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, UgandaNational Campaigns at different stages in eight African countries - Burkina Faso, Kenya, Madagascar, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda National Campaigns assist in scaling up local and national innovations through advocacy, legislative reform, capacity-building Ultimate goal is to reduce urban poverty through improved urban governance
