c a t IDEAS FOR INTRODUCING THE SIGNING TO THE LITTLE ONES Sign each letter. Encourage pupils to be accurate. Do signing twice with pupils. Ask pupils to sign without you. Ask them to sign each letter and sign after them to ensure they are correct. Ask them to sign the letter “C”, the letter “A”, the letter “T”. Do it again in a different order. Sign the letters of “CAT” not in order. Encourage pupils to copy and say what the letters are. Ask them to sign the word on their own tagain.
