Current status of LT SIIF Mindaugas Simanskis Chief specialist Environmental Assesment Department Environmental protection agency

Topics Concept of the IS “AIVIKS” First results of SIIF implementation Further work

Concept of the IS “AIVIKS” Ambitious project started in 2011 Replacing outdated systems A tool to manage all of the data collected by EPA under single system 23 subsystems in total of which 3 related to UWWTD

Concept of the IS “AIVIKS” Users of “AIVIKS”: Environmental protection agency – the manager and main user; Ministry of environment; Regional environmental protection departments; LT Hydrometeorological service; Institute of hygiene; Municipalities; Other institutions; Enterprises reporting the data; The public.

Concept of the IS “AIVIKS” UWWTD related subsystems of the IS: Yearly data on wastewater treatment Data on sewage systems, WWTP`s, discharge points, yearly pollutant and wastewater amounts, expenditure. Wastewater monitoring data (sample data) UWWTD data compliance evaluation Agglomeration data and evaluation : list of agglomerations and their WWTPS, and discharge points, population connection data, P.E. calculation, wastewater treatment compliance evaluation, sludge data, investment data.

First results of SIIF implementation Publication of UWWTD data: GIS maps and layers Oracle BI reports Only form imported UWWTD datasets

First results of SIIF implementation

First results of SIIF implementation

Further work GIS map improvements Oracle BI report adjustments Parameters and information to be published in a clear form. Addition of new parameters UWWTD ID codes, other missing data required for complete dataset. A move from imported data to DB generated data Data/information for publishing should be made from data inputted to the subsystems.

Further work Making of complete UWWTD dataset from DB Once all of the required parameters are held in DB it should be possible to generate a complete UWWTD dataset ready for reporting Addition of data validation rules Exchange of data between LT and EEA (WFS)
