USE: We use the Present Simple to talk about things that happen regularly (ROUTINE): things that are true in general: We go out every weekend. Paulo usually watches TV. She likes playing computer games. It rains a lot in England.

TIME ADVERBIALS With the Present Simple we use adverbs of frequency: NEVER 0% HARDLY EVER 20% SOMETIMES 40% OFTEN 60% USUALLY 80% ALWAYS 100% We put them after the subject of the sentence and before the verb: Pedro never plays soccer. But we put them after the verb to be: Pedro is always late.
