Expressive Arts & Design PSE I will Learn to speak with confidence to new adults and friends. I will learn to share toys with others . I will play alongside others. I will be following classroom routines and rules. I will be building relationships with other people. I will try to make new friends. I will learn to take turns. I will be joining in during carpet and circle times. Physical Development. I will be playing ring games I will be learning to use tools safely such as scissors. I will be learning to move with control and co-ordination over, under, through various small apparatus. I will be using a range of small and large equipment. I will be using a range of malleable materials in my play. I will be cooking a range of healthy snacksI will be learning how to use a correct pencil grip and gaining control with mark making implements. Communication Language and Literacy. I will be encouraged to show “good sitting” and “good listening”. I will listen to rhymes and stories and be encouraged to join in. I will learn to talk with my friends during activities. I will develop confidence to ask for help or say when I need help.   Expressive Arts & Design I will be drawing pictures of myself. I will be drawing pictures of my family. I will learning my colours. I will be using a range of objects to print with e.g. shoes, hands and fruit. I will be learning new songs to help me in my learning. I will be using my imagination in the role play area. Mathematics I will be saying numbers during play. I will be learning to sort objects in different ways. I will be looking at patterns. I will be learning the names of shapes and looking for them in and outside the classroom. Getting to know me and my family. Understanding the World • I will be sharing thoughts and experiences about families, how families can be similar and different to others. • I will learn about and meet the different people in the community. Literacy I will be learning to recognise my name. I will be listening to and learning a range of fiction books. I will be listening to different sounds I can hear around the school. I will be learning to make different sounds using my body, voice and instruments. I will be writing about my family.
