Introduction to AP Human Geography What to expect during this class and the 7 units we will be covering.

What to Expect During This Class This is not an easy class! I will expect a lot from you during this class. Analyzing models and being able to use those models to describe real life situations. (Demographic Transition Model) You will be expected to work at home. At least a half hour a night of work.

OUR GOAL We have one goal in this class: To take and pass the AP test in May. Every student in this room is expected to take the AP test in the spring and every student WILL take an AP test in the spring. Format of the AP test: 75 Multiple Choice Questions, 1 hour. 3 Free Response Questions, 1 hour 15 minutes

What You Need For This Class Pen/Pencil, everyday no exception A binder (a 1 ½ inch binder should be more than big enough). Loose leaf paper (approx. 100 sheets to start). Dividers, tabs, or sticky notes to divide up your binder. A notebook (That you can complete reading guides in. Comp books work as well). Your laptop, everyday no exceptions. Highlighters A package of notecards 3”x 5”. If you need help obtaining these supplies, talk to me or send me an e-mail.
