What we know about Romeo and Juliet

Bell Work 4/22 Write down as much as you know about Romeo and Juliet. Write down something you’d like to learn in this unit.

We think it’s a story about... Love - 60% think it’s a love story Death - 50% know there are deaths Feuding - 28% mentioned feuding families Tragedy - 8% think it’s a tragedy

We kinda know... It’s written by Shakespeare(36%). There are a lot of adaptations of the story. The language might be difficult.

Soooo Why do we study Shakespeare? Turn to your partner and try to come up with an answer.
