Study Expectations Example: Credit Hours Enrolled Study Expectations 3 credit hours 6-9 hours (outside of classroom) 6 credit hours 12-18 hours (outside of classroom) 9 credit hours 28-27 hours (outside of classroom) 12 credit hous 24-36 hours (outside of classroom) 15 credit hours 30-45 hours (outside of classroom) **For every credit hour enrolled in, the expectation is you study 2-3 hours outside of class reading, reviewing notes, doing homework and preparing for class. Example: Working 40 hours + 15 hours in class + 30-45 hours study/prep time= 85-100 hours per week
