The Look In most cases, methamphetamine is in the form of a crystalline white powder. The powder has no odor, it tastes bitter, and it dissolves in water easily.... Crystal meth, on the other hand, comes as clear crystals that look like ice.

Facts about Crystal meth 1. Methamphetamine is a potent central nervous system stimulant that is mainly used as a recreational drug and less commonly as a second-line treatment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and obesity. 2.It suppresses the appetite, increases energy, and triggers a euphoric rush soon after entering the body. Its effects begin almost immediately when injected, smoked or snorted. Long term problomes of using crystal meth : ●extreme weight loss ●severe dental problems ("meth mouth") ●intense itching, leading to skin sores from scratching ●anxiety ●confusion ●sleeping problems ●violent behavior ●paranoia—extreme and unreasonable distrust of others ●hallucinations—sensations and images that seem real though they aren't

Fast about Crystal Meth ●When crystal meth hit the market in the 1980s, addiction rates soared. ●Once the drug is smoked and inhaled, it begins to bring about sensations almost immediately, and it might leave you with a deep craving to use the drug again in the future, no matter the consequences. ●It might be surprising, then, to learn that the drug got its start in a reputable laboratory, and ingredients found in crystal meth were commonly prescribed to treat medical problems in a variety of patients. ●If you’re using crystal meth, you could experience increased blood pressure, irregular heartbeats, collapse or even death.

Drug catagory Crystal meth is classified as a stimulant A stimulant is a substance that raises levels of physiological or nervous activity in the body.

Where does Crystal Meth come from? Methamphetamine is a synthetic chemical, unlike cocaine, for instance, which comes from a plant. Meth is commonly manufactured in illegal, hidden laboratories, mixing various forms of amphetamine or derivatives with other chemicals to boost its potency.

Medical uses It can treat ADHD it may treat Narcolepsy is a sleep disorder characterized by excessive sleepiness, sleep paralysis, hallucinations, and in some cases episodes of cataplexy (partial or total loss of muscle control, often triggered by a strong emotion such as laughter). ADHD is a disorder that makes it difficult for a person to pay attention

Is Crystal Meth Addictive? and why or why not Crystal meth causes a quick release of the neurotransmitter dopamine in the brain. With high amounts of dopamine circulating, a flood of good feelings is experienced. This sensation of extreme pleasure derived from crystal meth is sometimes referred to as a “rush” or “flash.” The first time an individual uses meth, they experience a very significant “high” off of the drug. This experience becomes hard-coded into the individual’s memory. Now, for the remainder of an individual’s addiction, the brain will be trying to capture the same positive feelings of the first use. So yes it is addictive to people.

How is it used It can be snorted smoked it may also be injected to your veins there are many ways you can use it like by wrapping it in toliet paper or tissue paper and swallowing it

Signs of long-term crystal meth abuse include: ●More persistent psychotic symptoms--including delusions, paranoia, and hallucinations. ●Increased mental health issues like depression, anxiety and social isolation. Confusion and odd behavior. ●Feeling of bugs crawling on the skin. Body sores from users picking at their skin. ●Breathing problems associated with smoke inhalation. ●Irreversible damage to blood vessels throughout the body, including the heart and brain. ●Stroke. ●Coma.

Signs of Short-term crystal meth abuse include: ●Loss of appetite ●Increased heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature ●Dilation of pupils ●Disturbed sleep patterns ●Nausea ●Bizarre, erratic, sometimes violent behavior ●Hallucinations, hyperexcitability, irritability Panic and psychosis ●Convulsions, seizures and death from high doses

Symptoms of withdrawal from crystal meth can include: ●Feelings of depression. ●Intense drug craving. ●Anxiety ●Loss of energy. ●Itchy eyes ●Sleep difficulties, ranging from oversleeping to severe insomnia. ●Increased appetite.

Treatment Meth withdrawal and detox are uncomfortable experiences, and they are often a major reason people are unsuccessful in quitting meth on their own. In addition to being unpleasant, these experiences can prove dangerous to a person’s health. This is why so many people opt to go through detox at a trusted rehab facility. It is important for meth users to go through the process of withdrawal under the supervision of a doctor. Once the body has been detoxified, the rehabilitation process can begin. Meth withdrawal symptoms can be both physical, mental and behavioral, and they can be be very intense, lasting for days or even weeks. The primary factor that determines the length of the symptoms is the amount of time the person has been addicted.

Conclusion In conclusion crystal meth is not good for you but there is some good uses for it like medication but it’s highly addictive
