EquipRentz.com Current State With 8000+ partner locations across all 50 states, EquipRentz.com is one of the nation’s largest equipment rental service brokers. Their web portal operates as a clearinghouse connecting those looking to rent equipment to suppliers in their area. They track their partner’s available inventory to allow them to quickly connect users with the specific equipment. They handle the transaction and act as an intermediary between the rental partner and the end user.

Business Goals Improve the rental process for both users and partners. Improve back-end business processes by improving the user experience and reducing processing latency Allow for growth by implementing a reliable and robust ERP system. Reduce costs associated with the transport and delivery of the equipment. Improve the collection and exchange of data on both EquipRentz internal systems and the external systems of their partners. As-Is Business Scenario Supplier owns the equipment and transport services. EquipRentz pays back the rental revenue to the supplier on a weekly basis after deducting a service fee.
