There are just some things that you should not wear to an interview! HLI Presents… What Not To Wear There are just some things that you should not wear to an interview!

A Classic Black Suit is always a good choice Simple Accessories are ok. However, nothing much bigger or more extravagant than this set should be worn Yes, this is a very cute shoe but not appropriate for an interview. Steer away from open toe shoes/sandals

This is a nice classic gray suit that is perfect for an interview! A CLEAN, WRINKLE-FREE white tailored cotton shirt is a must!! A tie is a must! A solid colored tie is always good. If you do wear a patterned tie, it should not be too busy. Just say NO to any color alligator shoe! This may be your personal style, but it should not be your interview style! This is a nice classic gray suit that is perfect for an interview!

No Sandals! Yes, A black pant suit is nice, but this is too tight and showing way too much skin

A pair of black leather plain toe shoes like these or the classic wingtip is always a good accessory for an interview. The cut of this suit is nice, but the jacket is too bright. Also, try to avoid wearing sports jackets – wear a suit with matching jacket and pants.

Overall this outfit really does not match. These have way too much going on! Overall this outfit really does not match. You still have to CO-ORDINATE  The style of the suit is nice: the skirt length and the neckline are both appropriate. However, the color is too bright and may draw the interviewer’s attention away from you and what you are saying. This is a very nice classic black pump that is perfect for an interview!

Let’s See – What is right with these outfits? NOTHING!!! Unless you are a pimp – Never wear anything like this!!
