Basic facts Vampire bats are the only mammals that live completely on blood. They have a split lower lip so the blood can flow Once they have found a meal they drop on all 4’s and use the heat sensers in their nose to find veins close to the skin

habitat There are 3 species of Vampire bats the common , white winged, and hairy legged They live in Argentina, Mexico ,Chile ,Brazil, and the Caribbean Isles Vampire bats live in colonies and are commonly found in hollow trees , small caves , and abandoned buildings
