I SURRENDER I. A CALL TO SURRENDER OUR BODY (Rom. 12:1) And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him.

I SURRENDER Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself 1 Cor. 6:19

I SURRENDER II. A CALL TO SURRENDER OUR MIND 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think... Rom. 12:2a

For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Prov. 23:7 I SURRENDER For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Prov. 23:7

I SURRENDER Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. Prov. 4:23

I SURRENDER Conforming our thinking to the Word How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to Your precepts]. Psalms 119:9

I SURRENDER Be filled with the Spirit (Eph. 5:18b-19) “… be filled with the Holy Spirit,  singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.

And give thanks for everything I SURRENDER Be Thankful (Eph. 5:20) And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

I SURRENDER Consider yourselves dead to sin (Rom. 6:11) 11 So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.

I SURRENDER A CALL TO SURRENDER OUR WILL 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Rom. 12:2a

I SURRENDER Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Rom. 12:2b

I SURRENDER “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jer. 1:5

I SURRENDER 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jer. 29:11

I SURRENDER 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jer. 29:12-13

I SURRENDER “Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): 3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and [mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jer. 33:2-3
