The Importance of having a Kyle E. Weygandt, LSP - MSA “The What If Factor” The Importance of having a “Safety Culture” Presenter Kyle E. Weygandt, LSP - MSA

“The What If Factor” The importance of having a “Safety Culture.” Presenter: Kyle E. Weygandt, LSP - MSA *What if I was injured? *What if I take that short cut? *What if I was no longer here? *Who would take care of my family? *What if I knew a co-worker was un-safe or not wearing PPE? *Do we wait for an event, incident, or accident to ask these questions? The “What If Factor” program is one of the most important programs you can attend! There is no debate that over the last 100 years we have made amazing advancements in “State of the Art” safety equipment and emergency response. Even though we have top of the line PPEs and they are provided to employees free of charge, why does 89% of the workforce choose not to wear them all the time? This statistic was identified at a… {National Safety Council Congress P.P.E. Survey !!!} We must all raise the bar when it comes to our personal safety and the safety of our fellow co-workers. This program addresses the importance of….. 1.) How to perform a PPE Inventory. 2.) Evaluating the work environment to ensure you have the right PPE when needed. 3.) The Psychology of an active “Safety Culture.” 4.) The 3 Syndromes that careless employees suffer which leads to accident and injury. 5.) The 10 Golden Rules of Personal Protective Equipment. *Make the commitment to invest in a safe work environment and culture in the workplace! *No one knows your work environment better than you do! *After an accident or death….it’s too late……don’t be a statistic of… “The what if Factor!!!” * This program will be divided into 2 “One Hour” presentations *
