One25 reaches out to women trapped in, or vulnerable to, street sex work, supporting them to break free and build new lives away from violence, poverty and addiction. We are a Bristol based charity, founded in 1995, as the only organisation specifically supporting street sex-working women.

Why? 1995 Women excluded from ‘mainstream’ services Bristol High incidence of drug problems and homelessness Love Reaching out, drawing in and moving on

150 women are street sex-working in inner-city Bristol tonight

Who ARE THEY? A third left school before 14 and 59% have no qualifications A third are care-leavers and almost all have been abused as children 80% are homeless 92% are malnourished 31 were in prison 99% are addicted to drugs/alcohol Street sex-working women are 12 times more likely to be murdered

"I’d lost everything: my home, my family, and myself. That’s how I met One25 – when I was out working they would come out on a van with coffee and sandwiches. These ladies loved me when I couldn’t love myself." Sara

I’m thinking about further education, even starting a small business, but for now I want to spend time with my baby, find out who I am and get into the rhythm of life. I’m getting there.”
