QR Codes Real-world links or hardlinks Real-world links or hardlinks

A brief description (really) A barcode on steroids – A way to store a larger set of instructions – 2.9 KB or 4296 alphanumeric characters A way to attach computer information to objects in the real world Can be scanned with any camera-equipped Smartphone The Smartphone knows what to do with the code, with the installation of a very small application

How Does It Work? Create a barcode: code-generator, code-generatorhttp://qrstuff.com/ – Content can be so many things! Print it, embed it, project it – whatever! Students and/or parents can scan the codes from posters, cards, labels, etc and see multimedia content related to the print media – Expand the classroom learning experience!

What can you use it for? imagine Scavenger and treasure hunts Poster projects with multimedia content Field trips using prepared content on cards Communicate without dictating – did I mention 4296 alphanumeric characters? Remember - any internet link can be encoded, as long as your device can handle it. Music, video, websites, photos, etc. What can you think of?

Try it! A group demonstration Android Market – Barcode Scanner iPhone App Store – i-nigma Windows Marketplace – i-nigma Blackberry – mobile.blackberry.com or
