Copy the two terms above on paper. Essential Question: How did the power of the American government expand after the American Revolution? Objective To take bullet point notes on key facts surrounding America’s second plan of government, the Constitution. Copy the two terms above on paper.

Facts about the U.S. Constitution It was America’s second plan of government that explains how the government works. The Constitution was put into approved in 1788, 5 years after the American Revolution ended. The Bill of Rights are a part of the Constitution. The Constitution is a “living and breathing” document because it can be changed to reflect change in society. The Constitution may be changed or amended by the approval of the Supreme Court
