To acquire an understanding of government expansion through vocabulary and image analysis.

Task: Write the word and the definition on your graphic organizer.
Confederation: A group of independent states that work together.
Google the Articles of Confederation and write down what they were.

Federalism: The divided powers between the National and State governments.

Convention: A meeting for a specific purpose.

Debate: To talk about the reasons for and against something.

Compromise: Both sides who disagree on a topic, give something up that they want to reach an agreement.
