AGRI-FER 6% Iron Chelate (Fe EDDHA) in micro-granular form. Contains 6% Fe. For the correction of iron deficiency in crops and ornamentals growing in alkaline and calcareous soils. Recommended for soil application. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Dissolve in a convenient amount of water, then apply as a coarse low pressure spray or sprinkle on as a dry powder, either by itself or mixed with an extender such as dry sand. Applications should always be incorporated into the top few centimetres of soil as soon as possible after application and certainly within the following 1-2 hours. This can be done by harrowing or hoeing in or by irrigation. Farm Crops: Apply to the soil before cultivation prior to sowing or planting or between the rows, alternatively apply through overhead or ground level irrigation systems. Deep-Rooting Trees & Shrubs: Apply to the soil in a wide circular bank under the limit of the full branch spread. For best results, nutrients should be in the root zone before seasonal growth begins. For deep rooting trees in regions which have moderate to high rainfall, apply in mid to late winter to allow the rains to wash in the chelate. Alternatively, use a pressure injector to get the solution down to the root feeding zone. Injections should be no more than one metre apart, in a wide band directly under the limit of the full branch spread. This should be done at the beginning of the season, just before re-growth commences. If there are weeds or grass growing under the trees, increase the recommended application rate by half as much again. Shallow Rooting Crops: Apply to the soil along the rows, beginning at the first signs of seasonal re- growth. In moderate to high rainfall areas, do not wash in. In arid regions, wash in sparingly. If the soil is densely-compacted, the surface should be broken up by hoeing or harrowing before applying. AGRIMAR (UK) PLC 1

AGRI-FER 6% RATES OF APPLICATION The following rates indicate upper and lower limits. Actual amounts used will depend upon the size of the bush or tree and on the degree of deficiency: Apples, Apricots, Peaches, Pears, Plums: Apply g per tree, depending on size. Citrus: For young trees, apply at g per 100m 2. For mature trees, apply at g per tree. As an annual maintenance programme, apply at g per tree. Grapes: Apply g per vine or g per 100 metres of row, in a band or a side dressing. Cotton, Peas and Beans, Cereals, Vegetables, Peppers, Root Crops, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Melons and Squashes: Apply kg/ha just before sowing or planting or when iron deficiency symptoms begin to appear. Raspberries, Strawberries, etc: Apply g per 100 metres of row, in a band or a side dressing. Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Roses, Forsythias and Other Shrubs: Apply g per plant. Chrysanthemums, Geraniums and Similar Annuals and Perennials: Apply g per 10m 2. Rates should be judged according to the age of the plant, variety, soil type and other local conditions. IRRIGATION When used through an irrigation system the appropriate application rate should be selected from the previous selection. This should then be applied via the irrigation system at a rate not greater than 1 kg (dry weight) per 10,000 Litres of water. PRECAUTIONS 1.Keep well sealed and store in original sealed container. 2.Wash hands before meals and after work. 3.Store away from children, pets, livestock and food stuffs. 4.Store dry, away from strong light. 5.Do not apply to crops suffering stress such as extreme temperatures, strong winds, etc. AGRIMAR (UK) PLC 2

AGRI-FER 6% TECHNICAL DATA IRON CHELATE (Fe EDDHA) IN MICRO-GRANULAR FORM. CONTAINS 6% Fe Trade Name: AGRI-FER Active Ingredient Fe min 6% Chemical Name of Active Ingredient: Ferric ethylenediamine bis – (2 hydroxyphenyle acetate) Chelate Agents: EDDHA Physical Form: Soluble powder, red/brown in colour. Packing: 1 kg laminated bags; 10 x 1 kgs per carton box. 20 kg boxes. Storage: Store in a cool dry place in original closed container. HEALTH HAZARDS a)Effect on eyes – product could cause slight discomfort if allowed to come into contact with delicate eye surfaces, but no permanent damage is likely. It is always advisable to wash eyes if contact with chemicals is suspected. b)Ingestion – the normally toxic metal ions are held in a complex form (chelated) which reduces their toxicity to a very low level. Risk of injury by accidental ingestion is minimal. In the event of accidental ingestion, the product is not accumulated and is readily eliminated from the body. c)Effect on skin and mucous membranes – no evidence of irritation or sensitisation. d)Inhalation – solid products can be dusty and a dust mask should be worn when handling them in bulk, since all dusts are to some extent irritant if inhaled. FIRST AID If accidentally ingested – rest patient, give copious amounts of water to drink and seek medical advice. Skin contamination – wash off with copious amounts of water. AGRIMAR (UK) PLC 3

DETA-FER Iron Chelate (Fe EDTA) in soluble powder form. Contains 13.2% Fe. For the correction of iron deficiency in crops. Recommended for soil application. DIRECTIONS FOR USE FOLIAR APPLICATIONHydroponics: Preparation of Solution: Stir 1 part powder into 6 parts water, dilute to the required concentration. Timing – to obtain maximum benefit, foliar applications should be started as early as possible in the season, as soon as there is sufficient leaf area to absorb the spray. Wetting Agent – when this product is applied as a foliar spray alone (i.e. not mixed with other pesticides) it is recommended that a non- ionic wetting agent such as AGRIWET is added to the spray solution. RATES OF APPLICATION The following rates indicate upper and lower limits. Actual amounts will depend upon the size of plant and on the degree of deficiency. Field Crops: General recommendation: Apply 1-2 kgs/ha in Litres of water/ha. For severe deficiencies repeat after two weeks. Fruit Crops: Apply 1-2kg/ha in a repeat high volume spray programme, e.g. 4 applications of 0.5 kgs in 1000 Litres water/ha. DO NOT EXCEED A SOLUTION OF 0-1% (1gram per Litre). Glasshouse Crops (Foliar Application): Tomato, Cucumber, Squash etc., Cut Flowers, Carnations, Pot Plants, Potted Flowers: Apply at a rate of 50g/1000 Litres water. Glasshouse Crops (Compost Application): If iron deficiency in plants growing in growbags or soil- less composts, Deta-Fer may be added to the irrigation water or liquid feed at a rate of 100 g per 1000 Litres water. If iron deficiency develops first check the pH of the nutrient solution and if necessary adjust to pH 6.0. Then add Deta-Fer at the rate of 80g per 1000 Litres of nutrient solution. If symptoms persist, repeat the treatment days later. A solution of 10 ppm can be made by adding 75g of Deta-Fer to 1000 Litres of nutrient solution. PRECAUTIONS 1.Keep well sealed and store in original sealed container. 2.Wash hands before meals and after work. 3.Store away from children, pets, livestock and food stuffs. 4.Store dry, away from strong light. 5.Do not apply to crops suffering stress, such as extreme temperatures, strong winds, etc. AGRIMAR (UK) PLC 4
