Core Values

Our Core Values The culture of Spirax Sarco is underpinned by our Core Values that represent the qualities we all live and work by. They bind us together as an organisation and enable us to share a common understanding of what we value in our people and how we deliver on our commitments to stakeholders.

Respect We work in an environment of mutual respect, free from discrimination and intimidation. Each person is regarded as an important part of the team and we value the diversity of talents and viewpoints. We can all expect to receive a proper level of respect and to show it in return. On a wider level we operate in a way that respects the natural environment through maximising resource efficiency. We also take account of our responsibilities to the communities in which we work.

Accountability We work hard, we work effectively and we don’t look for excuses when things go wrong. We take ownership of tasks or projects and then follow them through to completion. We take responsibility for the outcome of our professional decisions. On an individual basis, we are eager to learn and improve our own performance by embracing professional development.

Passion We are passionate about our business and have a strong belief in the products we sell and the benefits derived by our customers. We are focussed on providing our customers with the best possible technical, environmental and commercial solutions and view their needs as our priorities and their challenges as our opportunities. We are passionate about the quality of work we deliver. Our professional insight, our experience and our strategic approach sets us apart from our competitors.

Integrity We place a high value on frankness and sincerity in all our business dealings and the exercise of good judgment. Saying what we mean and meaning what we say is a way of life at Spirax Sarco. It comes from the highest standards of personal and professional integrity. We operate in a working culture of transparency and open communication that encourages honesty and loyalty. This creates working relationships based on trust.

Delivery We focus on delivering the right outcomes that will drive the business forward. We value teamwork and operate across divisional and functional boundaries, working together with a shared purpose towards common goals. That translates into following up on identified actions, reviewing our progress towards agreed goals and working with a sense of urgency to keep our commitments. As a company we strive for excellence.
