To prep for Assignment 5: determine each of the slopes of your roofs and add it to your CAD drawing elevations. size each of your roof members, including your ridge board using the span table in the OBC determine what your roof edge detail will be and show your eaves show any overhangs / lookouts frame any openings, like dormers or skylights determine your sheathing size, span and layout
