Reviewed and recommend approval to EC associated with R05026, WEQ 2017 API 3.a and 3.b., WEQ 2017 API 4.a Reviewed 6 Standards Recommendations and posted Informal and formal comments if any. Reviewed and provided comments to EC on NERC 2019 - 2021 Reliability Standards Development Plan (RSDP). Discussed and provided feedback to NAESB management on NERC Standards Efficiency Review (SER)

WEQ Standard Activity Reviewed and provided comments to EC on NERC 2019 - 2021 Reliability Standards Development Plan (RSDP).

NERC Standards Activity SRS Subcommittee continuously monitors NERC Reliability Standards Under Development which may impact NAESB WEQ Business Practice Standards. NERC current projects: Project 2017-04 Periodic Review of Interchange Scheduling and Coordination Standards WEQ-004 Coordinate Interchange WEQ-008 Transmission Loading Relief (TLR) – Eastern Interconnection Project 2017-07  Standards Alignment with Registration Removal of LSE, PSE and IA as a functional entity. WEQ-001 OASIS

NERC Standards Activity Standards Efficiency Review Comprehensive review of the NERC Reliability Standards. e.g. - Propose retirement of MOD Standards vs WEQ-023 Modeling Standards? Correlation between NAESB WEQ Business Practice Standards. BPS written to complement NERC Standards? Impact to WEQ Business Practice Standards. Unknown, NERC SER is in the early stage of development.
